I am Moveen Khan and have been at Marysville High School since 2004. I am originally from the Fiji Islands . I migrated to America in 2001 in order to get closer to my older brother and my in-laws. Prior to moving to States, I taught in Fiji at Lautoka Muslim School for 6 years. I chose to stay in teaching here as well because of my passion for teaching and making a difference. I was hired by Fairfield-Suisun Unified District in 2002 to teach at Marybird High School. It was an alternative education school for at-risk students. That was the start of my teaching career here in USA and I learned a lot. I was hired as a part-time ROP teacher at Marysville High School in 2005. I have been here since then. I have been a full time teacher since 2006 and currently teach ROP Small Business Ownership and Management, Graphic Communications and Photography. I have been married for 15 years and have a beautiful four year old daughter.

My Philosophy: Teaching for me is more than a profession. It is my passion.
